WHO WE ARE
We are not sommeliers. We are not even “we”. It’s just me, Alexandra — marketing mind by trade, storyteller and explorer at heart. Based in Copenhagen, with Hungarian roots. This passion project began with a simple question:
“Why are some of Hungary’s most exciting wines almost impossible to find here?”
So I began building a bridge. Sharing these wines feels a bit like stepping into grandma’s attic — uncovering forgotten treasures.

Kárpát Tales curates and imports lesser-known wines straight from small Hungarian producers — especially bottles that hardly ever leave the country.

Low-intervention philosophy
Our wines are madewith minimal intervention from winemakers who farm sustainably and let nature take the lead — no additives, no shortcuts.
Thoughtful curation
We work closely with independent winemakers we know personally, carefully selecting authentic wines that reflect terroir, tradition, and the story it tells about Hungary’s evolving natural wine scene.
